....We hear political debates about war wounds as paper cuts. But there is no public debate about how Veteran's Administration incompetence and budget cuts may impact timely provision of prostheses and therapy, quality and availability of lifelong of medical care for a new generation of veterans, and deal with the unknown ramifications of exposure to military immunizations and battlefield contamination.
We see voting experiments where military members may sign away ballot privacy, and email or fax their votes to contractors, while being simultaneously warned to maintain absolute secrecy about day-to-day war activities to both the public and to military investigators.
We see a new class of political generals, very much like those who assisted in extending the disaster and false reporting during the Vietnam era......
